IMPACT ACADEMY

The Impact Academy is where it all starts. It's the foundation your child will build on for years to come, where a love of the game turns into real skill, real confidence, and real growth on and off the field.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Every session is built with intention. We break each practice into stages so players develop the right way, at the right pace:

1. Simple - Complex
2. Play - Practice - Play

The focus in the Academy years is individual player development (IDP). These are the skills your child will carry into every level of play that comes next.

Every coach on our staff is trained in the Impact Method of Coaching (IMC). Different coaches bring different personalities, but no matter who your child trains with, they get the same consistent foundation and the same Impact family.

7U PROGRAM

This is where things get a little more structured and a lot more fun. Players keep building on passing, dribbling, and shooting, and our coaches work in the life lessons that matter just as much as the skills. We care about more than soccer here. We care about your child's path forward.

7U players train twice a week for one hour per session, with a mix of weekly in-house scrimmages and youth academy play dates.

8U TO 10U PROGRAM

Training

Boys and girls in this age group train twice a week, one hour per session.

Academy Play Dates

Each fall and spring, players take part in NCYSA Academy Play Dates, playing other clubs' Academy teams at host locations.

Travel

NCYSA clubs take turns hosting Play Dates. We aim to host one or two each season, so expect some away games. We keep travel within about an hour of the Statesville Soccer Complex. The one exception is the NCYSA Academy Showcase, a Saturday and Sunday event where NCYSA picks the location.
