III.     Financial report-8/31 $38K in bank. Down $32K from last year. Detrimental to our financial state. We need to work on Fundraising, need help with the golf tournament, and need people to pay their bills with the club-receivable at $52K which will go down about $4800 when NCYSA pays us for Spring State Cup. Receivable is still at $48K.

IV.     New business

a)     Striker and Speed & Agility Clinics have been requested by a few people.  Please send board your input on whether or not this is something you would want to do. These can be offered during Friday’s when there are no pick-up games, or Saturday afternoons or Sunday afternoons when there are no games scheduled.  Parent input: Friday is hard for a lot of people so maybe try new night, or earlier times?  We are actively discussing and trying to find a spot in schedules for these clinics.  More than likely it will be a weekend clinic because we don’t want to take away from regular practices.

*Clinics, when offered will be pay as you go. We will be sending out a Survey Monkey for this-PLEASE do the survey!

b)     State Cup Date Change Nov. 9th & 10th.  For people NOT attending CVYSA Autumn Blast-we will need people to step up, and help out with field marshalling and concessions.

c)     Friday Night Pick-up Games-Going well. Attendance has been really good, and EVERYONE seems to have a great time!  We are trying to get an adult league going, and we would LOVE for this to lead into that.  Wouldn’t it be AMAZING to bring that soccer culture back to Statesville?!

d)    Golf Tournament Oct. 5th @ Larkin Golf Course-We are still seeking Hole Sponsors and of course PLAYERS!!!!

e)     How to represent Impact FC-Please be mindful during both HOME and AWAY games to be respectful to everyone at the field.  The refs, players, coaches, other parents. . .We are trying to ensure our players are respectful leaders-and what better examples than their parents!?

f)      Important Volunteer Date/Cost Savings-Golf Tournament and State Cup. Your Board, Coaches, Staff, etc. Work tirelessly and would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see some new faces at these events!!!  We actually would like to see players at the golf tournament, cheering the players on!  We would need people to set up for the awards and meal, and help check in golfers.  A signup genius will come out as we get closer.

g)     USWNT Game Oct. 3rd (No practice)-86 tickets!  It is going to be fun.  There will be a survey monkey coming out for clinics-There will be a BONUS question for which Jersey to wear to the game!!!!

V.     Old business

a)     IPDA Program-Coaches are ironing out who will be doing this program. They have been evaluating whole teams, and looking at players. Players are evaluated on skill level, technical, leadership, commitment, etc. Schedule and players will be out in the next week. For info on this program please revisit last month’s minutes that were sent out via email.
